Alonso Grimaldo resurfaced from Argentina on Sunday to reject Carla Campos Salazar's account of their relationship, hours after the 24-year-old influencer denied being unfaithful to her partner Curwen with him and described Grimaldo as being like a sister to her.
Grimaldo posted a video on TikTok filmed from a swimming pool inside a large house in Argentina, the country where he lives, and said Campos Salazar's characterization of their bond had not sat well with him.
Grimaldo's TikTok response
Grimaldo said he wanted to clarify three things. First, he said he was not gay and hoped that was made completely clear, directly contradicting Campos Salazar's earlier remark that she saw him as a sister.
He then addressed comments about his profession, saying he does not sell courses or anything related to his work. He said he has given free consultations, particularly to young people involved in the same field, but has never charged for it. He closed by saying he has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies and does not sell them.
Campos Salazar, who remains in a relationship with Curwen, whose real name is Victor Caballero, had been the subject of a scandal involving photos showing her together with Grimaldo.
Carla Campos Salazar's denial
On Sunday afternoon, August 23, Campos Salazar posted a video on Instagram in which she said she never kissed Grimaldo and had not been unfaithful to Caballero with him.
She said she fully accepted that she had made a mistake by not keeping proper distance from a friend, especially at a moment like the one she was going through, but insisted there had been no infidelity, no kiss, and that she had never had anything with him, absolutely nothing, ever.
Campos Salazar also explained why she had grown close to Grimaldo, saying she had always seen him as part of her friend group, like her best friend, and that to her he is like a sister.
The exchange between Grimaldo and Campos Salazar followed days of public scrutiny over their relationship after images of the two together circulated and drew attention to her engagement with Curwen.
