Peruvian TikTok creator and professional designer Carla Campos Salazar has publicly denied allegations of infidelity after being filmed at an early morning nightclub outing in Miraflores alongside her friend Alonso Grimaldo.
The 24-year-old influencer, who confirmed the end of her engagement to live streamer Victor Caballero, known online as Curwen, published a video on social media to clarify the circumstances surrounding the footage and to address claims of ongoing harassment.
Peruvian entertainment media often refers to secretly recorded video of public figures as an ampay, a local colloquial term for spot coverage. Following the public distribution of the nightclub video, Campos addressed her followers on Instagram and TikTok to explain her side of the events.
Denial of nightclub infidelity
Campos stated that no kiss occurred between her and Grimaldo during their outing in the Miraflores district of Lima. She insisted that there was no romantic connection between them and rejected accusations that she had been unfaithful to Caballero.
While defending her conduct, Campos acknowledged that she had made an error in judgment by standing close to a male friend during a night out, particularly during a sensitive period in her personal life.
She described Grimaldo as a long-standing friend whom she considers like a sister and a best friend, noting that he has been part of her circle of friends for several years.
Allegations of video harassment
Beyond addressing the nightclub footage, Campos made a serious accusation regarding persistent personal harassment. She stated that unknown individuals have been targeting her using a brief video clip recorded in 2025.
According to Campos, the 2025 clip was recorded before her relationship with Caballero began. She described the footage as lasting only two seconds and showing her dancing at a party when an unidentified man approached her, adding that it contained nothing improper.
She expressed frustration over what she described as a constant pattern of behavior by strangers. Campos alleged that whenever she attends social gatherings without her partner, individuals record photos and videos of her specifically to send them to Caballero.
Social media content creators and online streamers in Peru frequently face intense public oversight from online communities. Campos stated that the practice of monitoring her movements and forwarding private clips to Caballero had been occurring regularly since last year.
