Influencer Carla Campos Salazar has spoken out for the first time to reject allegations of infidelity against her former fiancé, streamer Víctor Caballero, who is known online as Curwen, following a scandal video broadcast by the Peruvian television program Magaly TV La Firme.
The content creator stated that no kiss occurred and nothing happened between her and young businessman Alonso Grimaldo during the encounter filmed a week ago. She accepted responsibility for the situation, acknowledging that she made a mistake by failing to maintain distance from her friend.
In Peruvian entertainment media, undercover footage of public figures in private situations is commonly referred to as an ampay. Addressing the report by Magaly TV La Firme, a long running celebrity gossip show hosted by journalist Magaly Medina, Campos Salazar explained that she had waited several days for public attention to calm down before clarifying what took place with Grimaldo, whom friends affectionately call Grimi.
Campos Salazar emphasized that her friendship with the young entrepreneur extends back several years. To support her account, the content creator, who is the sister of Peruvian actress Adriana Campos Salazar, shared several past videos showing the two friends spending time and enjoying moments together over the years.
Addressing rumors of a romance, Campos Salazar firmly denied ever having any romantic involvement with Grimaldo. She expressed that she had never had anything with him at any point in time, describing Grimaldo as being like a sister and her best friend.
Knowledge of the Incident
Campos Salazar stated that Caballero, a prominent political streamer and content creator, is fully aware of all the facts surrounding the event and knows the complete truth. She accused her former partner of staging a public show over the situation, calling him a mercenary whose behavior is already well known to his audience.
According to Campos Salazar, Caballero only knows of Grimaldo because she had consistently spoken about her friend throughout their relationship. She noted that Caballero was aware that the two had been close friends for a long time prior to the television report.
Grimaldo had previously broken his silence regarding the television footage, describing his recent interaction with Campos Salazar as something fleeting. The businessman also ruled out any connection to Caballero, stating that he does not know the streamer.
Harassment Over Prior Video
In addition to addressing the recent broadcast, Campos Salazar revealed that she has been subjected to harassment since last year regarding a separate video recorded before her relationship with Caballero began.
The influencer downplayed the significance of the audiovisual material currently circulating across social media platforms. She stated that the video held no importance whatsoever in her life and had no bearing on her current circumstances.
