Spanish television personality Antonio Pavon has publicly welcomed former congressman Joaquin Ramirez to his family following Ramirez's relationship with influencer Sheyla Rojas.
Pavon, who shares a young son with Rojas, addressed the romance for the first time during an appearance on the podcast Sin mas que decir, hosted by Peruvian television presenter Maria Pia Copello in Lima.
The bullfighter surprised audiences by speaking warmly about the new couple, despite confirming that he has not yet had the opportunity to meet the politician face to face.
During the podcast, Pavon explained that he would be delighted to meet the former lawmaker in person before his trip concludes and he returns home to Spain. He directly extended a welcome to the family, making clear that he is open to including Ramirez within his inner circle and sharing time together.
Promotional tour in Lima
Pavon is currently staying in the Peruvian capital to promote a schedule of live entertainment performances. His visit provided his first public forum to comment on the romantic pairing, which has attracted significant attention across Peruvian media.
The television personality first rose to fame in Peru through competitive entertainment broadcasts, notably appearing on the reality show Esto es guerra. His long-standing co-parenting relationship with Rojas, with whom he shares their son Antonito, has remained a prominent fixture in South American celebrity coverage.
Rojas previously confirmed her relationship with Ramirez, who formerly served in the Congress of the Republic of Peru as a representative for the Fuerza Popular political party. Following public scrutiny over the politician's background, Rojas publicly defended their courtship, noting that high-profile romances frequently generate outside envy.
Friendship with Sir Winston
Beyond discussing Ramirez, Pavon reflected on his ongoing bond with Mexican entrepreneur Luis Miguel Galarza Muro, widely known to the public as Sir Winston. Sir Winston previously maintained a long-term relationship with Rojas.
Pavon recounted a recent gathering in Spain where he met with Peruvian entertainment journalist Magaly Medina and Sir Winston. When questioned about the Mexican businessman, Pavon insisted that Rojas's split with him had not undermined the strong personal friendship between the two men.
The Spaniard stated that he continues to enjoy a very good relationship with Sir Winston, explaining that they share a genuine affection and a great friendship based on the businessman being an honorable person.
Family relations and future plans
Pavon emphasized that this mutual affection extends across the broader family. He noted that Sir Winston still preserves a loving, positive connection with young Antonito as well as with Rojas's close relatives.
He added that everyone within the circle continues to maintain good relations, explaining that Sir Winston and Rojas also remain on affectionate terms despite the conclusion of their romance.
Pavon plans to wrap up his promotional duties in Peru before traveling back to Europe, maintaining his willingness to sit down with Ramirez should an opportunity arise during his stay in Lima.
