The former reality television personality shielded her brother from broadcast cameras to prevent him from answering questions directly, taking the microphone to address the reporter herself.
The confrontation occurred after influencer Maricely publicly accused Bryan Bludau of misconduct during their five-year relationship. Vania Bludau insisted that her brother was only facing public scrutiny due to her own celebrity status in Peru.
Bludau stated that any media coverage surrounding the situation was her fault because she works in television, adding that her brother does not belong to the entertainment industry and currently resides in Miami. She requested that the news crew refrain from filming him while she answered their questions.

Defense against abuse allegations
Addressing the specific accusations, Bludau dismissed claims that her brother had subjected his former partner to psychological abuse, stating that she knows her brother well enough to rule out such behavior. She also commented on an audio recording that Maricely had published as evidence of conflict.
Bludau described the audio clip as very passive and noted that she had listened to the recording herself. She highlighted a segment where her brother told Maricely that he was not doing anything to her, characterizing the exchange as a typical argument between a couple rather than proof of mistreatment.
Bludau added that she had never maintained a close relationship with Maricely, attributing the distance to geographical separation. She explained that Maricely does not live in Lima, Peru's capital city, and noted that she herself had spent extended periods outside the country.

Maricely, an influencer based in the northern Peruvian city of Chiclayo, detailed her allegations on Instagram stories following the end of her five-year relationship with Bryan Bludau. She accused him of infidelity, emotional manipulation, and psychological mistreatment during their time together.
The influencer stated that she had opened her life completely to Bryan Bludau while he was allegedly sleeping with other women and maintaining a parallel relationship with a woman in Lima. She further claimed that following their separation, Bludau showed up at her doorstep unannounced on two separate occasions, which she said severely disrupted her peace of mind and impacted her mental health.
