Mario Irivarren has confirmed he crossed paths with his ex-girlfriend Vania Bludau at the Cochinola 2026 music festival in Lima, after the entertainment show Amor y fuego aired footage of the encounter.
The preview shown on Amor y fuego captured Irivarren at the festival alongside Tabata Suarez, a young woman reportedly linked to him romantically. The footage also showed that Onelia Molina, another of his former partners, was at the same event, a detail that drew a wave of comments on Instagram and TikTok.
Irivarren breaks his silence
After the images went viral, the businessman addressed the matter on his podcast, La manada galactica. He said he had no problem confirming what happened, then revealed he had come within a few metres of Christian Dominguez's former partner.
Watching the Amor y fuego footage live on his show, Irivarren said that in his defence, he had crossed paths with one of them, but not the other. The remark caught his co-hosts, Gerardo Pe and Laura Spoya, off guard, and they pressed him for more details.
An unavoidable hallway encounter
Irivarren explained that the moment happened in the middle of the party, in a hallway that people had to pass through to reach the bathroom. He said that was where he crossed paths with Vania, calling it inevitable because there was no other way to walk through.
He was careful to draw a distinction between crossing paths and actually greeting her. He said greeting someone was a very different thing, and that there was no greeting between them, only a brief crossing of paths.

Irivarren is a well known figure on Peruvian reality television, having appeared on competition shows including Esto es guerra and Combate. Bludau is a Peruvian model and television personality who previously dated Irivarren and later had a relationship with singer Christian Dominguez. Amor y fuego is a Peruvian entertainment programme known for covering celebrity gossip and reality TV drama.
During the same broadcast, Irivarren joked about the situation, suggesting that because of past friction between them, he had tried to stay out of sight during the festival to avoid any awkward moments.
