Television personality Sebastian Lizarzaburu has acted in Lima to protect his daughter Maia following a formal assault complaint filed against Andrea San Martin.
The complaint was filed by Juan Victor, who accused San Martin of physically assaulting the young daughter the two share, prompting public scrutiny across Peru.
Lizarzaburu addressed the situation in a serious video posted to his Instagram account, confirming that Maia is safe but expressing concern about her exposure to media reports regarding the allegations.
He explained on social media that he wants to ensure his daughter does not see more than she has already seen, know more than she probably knows, or hear more than she has probably heard. He added that the young girl should remain completely removed from the controversy while the entire situation is resolved.

Lizarzaburu revealed that his absolute priority is safeguarding the emotional stability of his daughter as official inquiries into the complaint against San Martin move forward. To protect the child, he announced that he has established constant communication with both her maternal grandmother and paternal grandmother.
The fitness athlete confirmed that he has spoken directly with Maia since the allegations emerged. He explained that he has been coordinating privately with both grandmothers so that the child stays calm, emphasizing that her peace of mind and emotional stability are the only outcomes he cares about.
Lizarzaburu and San Martin previously formed one of the most prominent couples on Peruvian television, sharing a high-profile relationship before separating and agreeing to share custody of their daughter.
