Wellness coach and entrepreneur Raquel González launched her debut book, titled No estás tarde... Estás lista. El Método Real 40+, during a presentation in Santo Domingo. The work offers a comprehensive guide designed to help women over 40 transform their health through conscious habits, consistent routines, and realistic self-care practices.

The publication focuses on long-term wellness, balanced nutrition, and active movement rather than short-term diets or rapid solutions. González stated that the goal of the book was not to encourage women to look backward, but rather to help them start afresh with a more conscious perspective on their bodies and daily lives.
In her message to readers, González explained that women were not late and did not need to return to who they used to be. She emphasized that individuals remained fully on time to construct a stronger, more conscious version of themselves that is prepared for whatever lies ahead.
Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic located on the southern coast of Hispaniola, serves as a major economic and cultural center in the Caribbean. In recent years, urban centers across the country have experienced growing interest in preventive health care, fitness management, and holistic personal wellness.
Five Pillars of the Real Method
The core framework of El Método Real 40+ rests upon five fundamental pillars intended to build and sustain lasting health adjustments. The first pillar is awareness, which centers on recognizing and understanding the evolving physical and emotional needs of the body during midlife.
The second pillar incorporates movement as an essential element of daily well-being, while the third pillar promotes conscious eating and balanced nutritional choices. The fourth pillar emphasizes balance to integrate self-care into everyday schedules, and the fifth pillar highlights consistency as the key factor required to maintain positive changes over time.

González developed the publication specifically for women who have repeatedly postponed their well-being, attempted restrictive regimes that are difficult to sustain, or felt pressured by age. Rather than presenting health as a struggle against aging, the text creates a broader conversation centered on self-esteem, personal discipline, and reinvention.

González brings more than 20 years of professional experience in fitness, healthy habits, and holistic wellness to her writing. As founder and chief executive officer of 4XRD, she has developed multiple initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable lifestyles and cultivating a conscious relationship with exercise, nutrition, and personal care.
Community Support and Career Background
Throughout her career in the health sector, González has accompanied individual transformation processes and participated in educational conferences, health programs, and wellness projects for both individuals and organizations. Her background includes extensive work in designing routines that adapt to modern lifestyle demands.

The official book release brought together prominent local figures, health advocates, and supporters in Santo Domingo. Guests attending the presentation included Carolina Saladín, Griset Cruz, Daisy García, Villa Guzmán, and Carolina Tolentino, who gathered to mark the publication of the new guide.

Additional attendees at the gathering included María Alejandra Melo, Carlos Mario Estrella, and Tania Báez, who joined González during the ceremony. The event was covered by Dominican newspaper Diario Libre, a leading national publication based in Santo Domingo that reports on general news, cultural affairs, and health developments.
By combining practical lifestyle guidance with reflection on personal growth, González aims to provide women with an accessible path toward long-term physical and emotional health. The release represents her first formal publication as an author while continuing her ongoing work in wellness coaching across the region.
