Franco is a well known cumbia singer in Peru, recognised for the song 'Dile la verdad', while Cueva is a Peruvian national team footballer nicknamed 'Aladino'. The interview came as Franco has been dealing with a separate controversy involving her former friend Melanie Martínez, who accused her of blocking her on social media at the request of Christian Domínguez, Franco's former partner. Franco chose to set that dispute aside during the podcast and focus instead on her personal life and career.

Dávila pressed further, asking Franco how she managed to convince Cueva when he dug in his heels. Franco admitted that she was also quite firm about her own decisions and had a strong personality of her own. She said she had her own temper, suggesting the relationship works because both of them are equally headstrong.
