Pamela López said Derek Baigorria, the younger brother of television personality Alejandra Baigorria, contacted her on WhatsApp with an offer to take part in an advertising campaign, only to later ask to meet her in person. López said the deal never went ahead.
López shared the account during Thursday's broadcast of the show "Vale Todo" on Panamericana Televisión, where she works on weekdays. She said Baigorria reached out to her via WhatsApp about the supposed campaign, but that the work was never finalized.
Gifts and repeated calls
López said that after the advertising deal failed to materialize, Baigorria continued calling her repeatedly, asking whether she would like him to give her a handbag or pay for a trip. She called the behavior completely out of place.
López, who remains married to footballer Christian Cueva, said the offers were made in November 2024. She said she eventually had to block him, adding that he kept calling without any work agreement ever being confirmed, and that he seemed to be fantasizing about her.
López described the insistence from Baigorria as inappropriate and said she made the decision to block him.
Chats shown on air
After co-host Pati Lorena asked her to show the conversations with Baigorria, López briefly left the live broadcast to find the messages on her phone. She returned minutes later and shared screenshots of the WhatsApp exchange.
One of the screenshots showed Baigorria asking to meet her, writing that he wanted to see her and asking whether it was real or whether he was dreaming. López responded that he was just a kid, around the same age as her daughter.
