Colombian singer Kapo will perform in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on November 14 as part of his "Afro Rosa" tour, with the concert set for the Óvalo de la Feria Ganadera.
The show is being produced by Pav Events and EP, and it follows a run of successful appearances by the artist on international stages, according to the promoters.
The Santo Domingo date will give Dominican audiences the chance to hear a run of the songs that have turned Kapo into one of the most talked-about names in urban Latin music.
Who is Kapo
Kapo is the stage name of Juan David Loaiza Sepúlveda, a 28-year-old Colombian artist signed to the label La Industria Inc. He built his sound around a mix of urban music, afrobeat and his own lyrics, a combination that has taken him from breakout artist to an internationally recognized performer.
With "Afro Rosa," Kapo has shown that his output goes beyond a passing trend. He has established himself as a singer-songwriter, connecting with millions of followers through compositions that have reached major music charts.
Chart success and collaborations
His album "Por Si Alguien Nos Escucha" reached the Top 10 of Spotify's Global Albums chart. The record includes the songs "OHNANA" and "Uwaie," alongside viral hits "No Cry" and "Dónde."
Kapo's versatility has also led him to collaborate with several established names in Latin music, among them Feid, Maluma, Ryan Castro, Manuel Turizo, Yandel, Myke Towers and Rels B. His recent collaborations with Ryan Castro, "Flaka" and "La Vila," have charted in more than 18 countries.

Pav Events, the company producing the Dominican Republic concert, said the aim is to offer a high-level musical experience for the artist's fans and for lovers of urban music. Tickets for "Afro Rosa" are available through Uepa Tickets.
From sold-out shows in Bogotá to global recognition
Kapo reached a career milestone when he sold out two solo shows at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, drawing more than 14,000 people to his debut at the venue. He also completed a tour of several Colombian cities.
The Movistar Arena is one of Bogotá's largest indoor venues and a regular stop for major touring acts, making a sold-out solo run there a significant marker for any artist's career.
That achievement sits alongside other highlights in Kapo's career, including his appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone en Español as part of its 2025 Musicians on Musicians edition, and his participation in the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, one of the industry's leading annual honors for Latin music.
The artist has also been recognized as Composer of the Year at the SESAC Latina Music Awards and as Latin Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards, distinctions that reflect his growing impact within the international music industry.
