Infinix has started sales of its HOT 70 smartphone in Russia, featuring a dedicated physical side button designed to trigger artificial intelligence features.
A short press of the side button launches Smart Bookmarks, which analyzes screen content to add departure dates from messages to the calendar or save business cards as new contacts. All saved notes, screenshots, videos, and social media posts are automatically sorted into categories within a central repository called Knowledge Base. A long press opens the Folax AI assistant, allowing users to switch between several large language models directly on the current screen without leaving an app.
The camera system incorporates four artificial intelligence tools. Live Photo automatically selects the sharpest frame, AI Eraser removes unwanted objects, AI Expander builds out backgrounds for cropping, and an AI generator creates wallpapers and themes.
Battery life and hardware specifications
The HOT 70 comes equipped with a 6000 mAh battery that supports 45 W fast charging, reaching a full charge in about an hour. Bypass charging technology supplies power directly to internal components to reduce heating during simultaneous charging and heavy use, such as video calls or live streams. The phone features a 6.78-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 700 nits, powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor.
The body carries an IP65 protection rating and, according to the manufacturer, can withstand drops from heights up to 1.5 meters at various angles, including a series of 40 screen-down falls. A built-in speaker cleaning function in Folax uses sound vibrations to remove dust and moisture. Voice noise cancellation filters out background street, cafe, or transit sounds during calls, while UltraLink offline communication supports direct Bluetooth calling at distances up to 1.5 km without cellular signal.
The device runs on XOS 16. For models with 6 GB of RAM or higher, Infinix promises three major operating system updates and five years of security patches. Color options include black and silver.
Pricing in Russia is set at 13,490 rubles for the 4/128 GB model, 20,990 rubles for the 8/128 GB model, and 23,990 rubles for the 8/256 GB configuration. Virtual RAM expansion allows the 4 GB model to expand to 8 GB, while 8 GB models expand to 16 GB. Sales are available through DNS, M.Video, and the official Infinix store on Ozon. The company also announced a HOT 70 Pro model with upgraded design, camera, and AI features, though its release schedule has not been stated.
