Peruvian barber Youna has confirmed that he transfers 500 US dollars every month to cover child support for his daughter with influencer Samahara Lobaton.
Addressing recent statements made by his former partner, Youna stated that both parents share equal responsibility for funding their daughter's upbringing and argued that his contribution should be sufficient.
The Miami-based barber emphasized that he has never missed a single child support payment since their daughter, Xianna, was born. He explained that sending 500 dollars each month requires a significant personal sacrifice, noting that earning money while working in the United States is challenging.
Youna made the comments following public remarks by Lobaton during an interview on a podcast hosted by Peruvian entertainment journalist Magaly Medina. In the interview, the former reality television contestant suggested that Youna did not adequately cover their daughter's daily financial needs.

Child support payments and financial claims
Responding to the criticism, Youna asserted that his monthly 500-dollar deposit covers 50 percent of the living costs required for Xianna. He added that he has received numerous messages regarding the dispute but maintained that his financial assessment of the child's needs remains accurate.
The financial debate comes after the pair appeared together on the reality television show La prision de Destino 2, which was abruptly canceled before its conclusion. Throughout the production, Youna and Lobaton failed to resolve their long-standing personal conflicts.
During the show, Youna repeatedly criticized Lobaton for rekindling her relationship with musician Bryan Torres despite previous incidents of physical abuse. Meanwhile, Lobaton informed other show participants that she personally covers almost all expenses for her three children.
Background of the high-profile Peruvian couple
Lobaton is a prominent social media influencer and former contestant on the television program La granja VIP Peru. She is also known as the daughter of Peruvian media personality Melissa Klug. Lobaton previously stated that while both Youna and Torres meet their child support obligations, she works hard to provide a comfortable lifestyle for her family.
Youna, who currently works as a professional barber in Florida, has previously been involved in public disputes with Lobaton, including an alleged nightclub altercation between the two in Miami. He recently apologized for his behavior on the international reality show, stating that some of his actions had been presented out of context.
