Samahara Lobatón has been accused by fellow reality television contestant Freddy Salazar Ribeaux of physically assaulting her partner Youna at a Miami nightclub.
Salazar Ribeaux, a Cuban fitness coach known as Cuba Cuba, claimed during a live social media broadcast that two security guards measuring over two meters tall were forced to remove Lobatón after she scratched the barber in front of all their castmates.
The alleged confrontation occurred during production of the international reality show La prisión de Destino 2, which was recorded in Miami, Florida, and broadcast on YouTube. Production of the show ended after it was canceled on Friday, August 28, 2026, following widespread reports submitted to United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Contestants regained access to their mobile phones after leaving confinement at the end of filming. While several participants chose not to comment on their experiences, Salazar Ribeaux discussed behind the scenes events during a broadcast on TikTok.
Allegations of nightclub attack
According to Salazar Ribeaux, the altercation began inside the Miami venue when Lobatón became jealous because Youna wished to remain at the establishment. He stated that Lobatón insisted Youna leave with her while he was enjoying a quiet evening sharing with others, leading Lobatón to scratch him with her nails without cause.
Salazar Ribeaux stated that Youna did not retaliate and simply turned his back to avoid seeing or responding to Lobatón, noting that a man always loses in arguments with a woman. He added that two people over two meters tall had to remove Lobatón, describing the barber as a gentleman of a kind that no longer exists.
Lobatón, who is the daughter of Peruvian television personality Melissa Klug, has been involved in multiple public disputes with Youna. Youna had previously issued an apology after facing criticism for attacking Lobatón on the show, claiming that the incident had been presented out of context. Youna has also faced heavy criticism from Melissa Lobatón.
Social media reaction and video evidence
During the TikTok stream, several female followers of Lobatón questioned Salazar Ribeaux over his own behavior on the show and labeled him loutish. In response to the criticism, the Cuban trainer asserted that he possessed proof of his allegations.
Salazar Ribeaux threatened to upload video evidence of the alleged physical assault to his Instagram account. He added that the recording would only remain available on his profile for a limited time of one minute.
The new accusation follows a prior conflict inside the reality show where Lobatón accused Salazar Ribeaux of assaulting her in a swimming pool. Both participants remained central to the ongoing controversies surrounding the program until its cancellation.
