Xiaomi has started selling its Redmi 17 budget smartphone in Europe, with prices starting from 220 euros at select German retailers.
The device is also available in Spain and several other countries as Xiaomi gradually expands its availability across the European market.
The Redmi 17 features a 7,500 mAh battery supporting 45-watt charging. The large battery capacity results in a body thickness of 8.8 mm and a weight of 232 grams.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 6.9-inch display featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The screen resolution is 1600 x 720 pixels.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor, which does not offer 5G support. The base model features 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of eMMC flash memory, alongside options for 4/256 GB, 6/128 GB, and 6/256 GB configurations. A hybrid slot allows for memory expansion via microSD card or a second SIM card, while the main camera uses a 50-megapixel sensor.
