Ukraine's State Customs Service transferred nearly 78.3 billion hryvnia in customs payments to the state budget in July 2026, the highest monthly figure since martial law began, the service reported.
Revenue rose by more than 13.1 billion hryvnia, or 20.2%, compared with July 2025.
Lawmaker flags logistics risk
Yaroslav Zhelezniak, first deputy chair of the Verkhovna Rada committee on finance, tax and customs policy, responded to the figures by saying the result was decent, but that he believed the negative effect of disrupted port and rail logistics would soon show up in the statistics.
Customs officials confirmed that the destruction of facilities belonging to taxpayers and importers, along with the suspension of maritime shipping through Ukrainian ports, had started to significantly affect economic activity in Ukraine.
Despite these challenges, the State Customs Service said businesses continued to operate and to contribute to the budget.
Year-to-date total tops 498 billion
Since the start of the year, more than 498.4 billion hryvnia in customs payments has been sent to the state budget.
The Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport said last week that Ukraine would again turn to the "solidarity lanes" following Russian attacks on ports. The Ukrainian Grain Association warned that Ukraine could face problems exporting grain because of blocked ports.
