Ukrainian Officials' Salaries Rise Again in June 2026

The average salary of employees at Ukraine's central executive authorities reached 66,840 hryvnias in June 2026, up roughly 7,000 hryvnias from the same month last year, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported.

Highest-paid agencies

The five best-paying central bodies in June were the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities, at 107,200 hryvnias; the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, at 98,400 hryvnias; the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, at 97,900 hryvnias; the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada, at 96,400 hryvnias; and the Accounting Chamber, at 94,500 hryvnias.

Lowest-paid agencies

The lowest-paid employees worked at the State Space Agency of Ukraine, at 42,500 hryvnias; the State Service of Medicines and Drug Control and the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, both at 42,300 hryvnias; the State Service for Children's Affairs, at 40,900 hryvnias; and the State Energy Supervision Inspection, at 36,700 hryvnias.

The Ministry of Finance noted that civil servants' pay includes one-off payments, such as compensation for unused leave and social assistance, so monthly averages can fluctuate.

Judges' pay and national average

Judges at higher judicial bodies, including the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, the High Council of Justice, the High Qualification Commission of Judges and the High Anti-Corruption Court, earned between 197,800 and 446,700 hryvnias in June. Staff at central-level judicial apparatus bodies averaged 71,460 hryvnias.

In March, central officials averaged 58,640 hryvnias, with the Antimonopoly Committee and the energy regulator then paying over 95,000 hryvnias. Ukraine's overall average salary rose 5.9% in June to 32,783 hryvnias before tax, or 25,243 hryvnias after the 18% income tax and 5% military levy.
