Samahara Lobatón filed a complaint accusing her former partner, singer Bryan Torres, of assaulting her at her home, according to a police report broadcast by the program Magaly TV, la firme. Torres is the father of Lobatón's two youngest children.
The report said the incident happened on the afternoon of August 3, when Torres came back to Lobatón's residence after forgetting his cellphone there. According to the complaint, he demanded his phone and suddenly lunged at her in an attempt to grab the device from her, which led to a physical struggle.

The complaint states that Torres had gone to the home to visit his children. When he left, he forgot his cellphone and returned minutes later. According to the police report, he kicked the door of the home while trying to retrieve the phone, which set off the confrontation between the two.
Phone damaged in struggle
As a result of the assault, the complaint says, the victim's phone fell to the ground and was damaged. The program reported that the confrontation continued as Torres tried to leave the building, taking her phone with him, which led both of them to struggle over it near the elevator area.

The complaint was filed at around 7:00 p.m., while the incident itself is reported to have taken place at approximately 5:50 p.m. Lobatón, daughter of Melissa Klug, had previously said she maintained a cordial relationship with Torres for the sake of their children, though that appears to have changed following the August 3 incident.
