Santos, known for hits such as "Cancioncitas de Amor," thanked Peruvian fans on his Instagram account, saying, according to his post, "Peru, thank you for two magical nights."

Thousands sing along across two nights

During both performances, the Estadio Nacional de Lima turned into a giant choir, with couples, friends and fans of different ages joining in on every song. The turnout underscored how much staying power bachata still has and the strong bond both singers have built with their Peruvian audience.

Romeo Santos, cantante de ‘Propuesta Indecente’ y ‘Eres mía’, agradece a los peruanos por la gran acogida en Lima.

From the start of each show, attendees sang along at full volume to some of the artists' best-known tracks, including "Cancioncitas de Amor," "Eres Mía," "Imitadora," "Darte un Beso," "Corazón Sin Cara" and "Las Cosas Pequeñas." The two nights were marked by romance, nostalgia and the distinctive rhythm of bachata.

Two generations of bachata join forces

Santos and Royce, known respectively as the "King of Bachata" and the "Prince of Bachata," brought their Mejor Tarde Que Nunca Tour 2026 to the Peruvian capital. The tour is tied to their joint album project, Better Late Than Never, a collaboration that brings together two generations and styles that have helped spread bachata across stages in different countries.

Con un repertorio variado y recursos audiovisuales impactantes, Romeo Santos y Prince Royce celebraron su alianza musical y presentaron su nueva colaboración 'Dardos', añadiendo otro capítulo a la evolución de la bachata.

With a varied setlist and striking audiovisual production, Santos and Royce celebrated their musical partnership and performed their new collaboration "Dardos." One of the most celebrated moments of the shows centered on this new chapter in their careers, with "Dardos" standing out as a song that represents the artistic alliance between two of the most recognized figures in bachata today.

Peruvian audiences are no strangers to Santos. In 2023, the singer sold out the Estadio Nacional on four consecutive occasions as part of his Fórmula Vol. 3 tour, making him one of the Latin artists with the greatest drawing power in Peru in recent years.

This time, alongside Prince Royce, he once again confirmed the connection he maintains with his fans. The two artists put on a show loaded with audiovisual elements and a set that spanned different moments of their respective careers, alongside songs from their recent joint work.

Two consecutive nights of music, romance and thousands of voices singing in unison once again confirmed the standing of Romeo Santos and Prince Royce as two of the leading figures in contemporary bachata.
