A Reddit user posting under the username Prussian-king said she does not want to give a speech at her upcoming wedding, because American tradition requires her to explain how she met her fiance and why she fell for him, and both answers trace back to an unusually frank conversation early in their relationship.
She said the couple met on a dating app and that their first few dates went well. By the third date, she said, they had begun talking about sex and compatibility in bed.

She said she told him that she most enjoyed receiving oral sex because she preferred external stimulation, and that she complained her previous partners had started sex that way but then focused only on their own pleasure once intercourse began.
That same night, she said, her boyfriend told her he loved performing oral sex on her, calling it his favourite activity and the thing he dreamed about day and night. She said he told her he had no intention of repeating her exes' behaviour and instead planned to focus entirely on her needs.
From 'nice guy' to fiance
She said that single conversation was the moment her now-fiance stopped being just a fairly nice guy in her eyes and became someone she felt she had to hold on to at all costs.
She said he kept his word and that the couple did not have penetrative sex until several months later. She described him as incredibly patient and said their compatibility, in bed and outside it, was extremely high, adding that the two suited each other in many ways.
She said she is now marrying the man of her dreams, that they have sex several times a week including in restaurants, and that she could not be happier.
Wedding speeches and viral Reddit posts
In many English-speaking countries it has become common for the bride, not only the groom or best man, to give a speech at the wedding reception, often recounting how the couple met and what drew them together. Reddit, the US-based discussion platform, hosts forums where users post personal stories and relationship advice under pseudonyms rather than their real names, and such posts regularly spread beyond the site once picked up by other outlets.
In an earlier post picked up by the same outlet, men and women shared tips they said they had learned from pornography, with several saying such videos had taught them how to perform oral sex correctly.
