Paradox Park has opened a massive new immersive entertainment venue at the Jockey Club in the Surco district of Lima, bringing ancient civilizations to life.
Spanning more than 25,000 square meters, the park combines physical obstacle courses, interactive games, and live theatrical performances. Visitors explore themed environments inspired by four major ancient powers: Rome, Egypt, Greece, and Babylonia. Entry tickets for the experience start at 89 Peruvian Soles.
Santiago de Surco, commonly known as Surco, is a prominent suburban district in the Lima Metropolitan Area of Peru. The venue is hosted at Gate 4 of the Jockey Club del Perú, a historic equestrian club and expansive events space located within the capital.
Interactive narrative and main storyline
Unlike traditional amusement centers, Paradox Park centers its attraction on an interactive narrative in which attendees actively participate in the storyline. The central character guiding visitors through the experience is Arvix, who is identified as the guardian of the portals.
Arvix leads groups into what the park designates as the Imperium era. Once inside, families and participants compete in various challenges, navigate physical obstacles, and watch live entertainment staged throughout the historic settings.
The immersive concept draws upon popular historical periods often featured in literature and cinema. One of the largest individual attractions within the complex is Las Olimpiadas de Zeus, or The Olympics of Zeus. This attraction features a 285-meter obstacle course circuit filled with more than 45 physical challenges designed to test participant agility and endurance.
The obstacle course takes its name from Zeus, the chief deity of ancient Greek mythology who presided over Mount Olympus and in whose honor the ancient Olympic Games were held in antiquity.
Another major area is the themed zone titled Roma vs. Egipto, covering more than 2,600 square meters. In this space, guests step directly into the historical rivalry between the Roman Empire and ancient Egypt, acting as key figures in the ongoing dispute between both empires.
The struggle between Rome and Egypt forms one of the most famous chapters of ancient Mediterranean history, marked by historical figures such as Julius Caesar, Mark Antony, and Cleopatra. Paradox Park uses this dramatic backdrop to allow visitors to participate in challenges representing both powers.
Inspired by classical Greek mythology, El Laberinto del Minotauro covers an area of more than 600 square meters. Visitors must navigate winding passages and corridors while attempting to track down the mythical character hidden inside.
In ancient Greek legend, the Minotaur was a mythical creature with the head of a bull and the body of a man, contained within a vast labyrinth built for King Minos of Crete. The park replicates this maze-like setup to challenge visitors' navigation skills.
For younger children, the venue includes Los Jardines Colgantes de Babilonia, or The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. This zone blends movement, active play, and adventure games within a setting inspired by one of the ancient world's best-known civilizations.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are historically celebrated as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, described in ancient texts as a grand tiered garden built in the ancient city of Babylon near present-day Iraq.
In addition to the physical zones, the park features immersive live performances. Rather than acting solely as decorative backgrounds, historical events and characters come alive through live shows performed directly before the audience.

According to information published on Cuponidad, entry tickets for Paradox Park start from 89 Soles per person. The venue operates three days a week on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Organizers offer two daily shifts for visitors on operational days: a morning shift running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and an afternoon shift from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Park management noted that once a visitor enters the venue, leaving and re-entering using the same access ticket is strictly prohibited.
