A key road between Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik in southern Russia was closed following a drone attack, city head Andrey Kravchenko reported on Telegram. Kravchenko, who leads the hero city of Novorossiysk, said vehicular traffic moving toward Gelendzhik was stopped from the intersection of Sukhumi Highway and Karyernaya Street.

Movement toward Novorossiysk was also blocked from Kabardinka. Prior to the road closure announcement, Kravchenko said forces in the city were repelling a drone attack and advised residents to stay away from windows and follow safety measures.
August 9 Industrial Site Impact
The incident follows an earlier event on August 9, when debris from downed drones fell on the territory of two enterprises in Novorossiysk.
