Mark Vito, the former husband of Keiko Fujimori, celebrated his 50th birthday on August 10 while vacationing in the United States, his home country, with girlfriend Leslie Echavarria and his family.

The businessman shared parts of the celebration on his social media, including a visit to a Mario Bros themed attraction with Echavarria. He said his girlfriend brings out his inner child, and later summed up the celebration by saying he was just a 50 year old kid.

Girlfriend's birthday tribute
Echavarria, a Peruvian teacher, shared photos and videos from the celebration in the United States, including a moment showing Vito blowing out candles alongside his mother.
She wrote that it was the second birthday she had been lucky enough to celebrate by his side, and said that if she could wish for anything for him, it would be for everyone to one day know him the way she does, to know his heart, his kindness, the way he loves and cares, and how, even after everything he has been through, he still has the capacity to believe, to laugh and to start over.
Echavarria also reflected on the personal growth she has seen in Vito since they met, writing that she hoped the world could one day see a bit of the man she sees when no one else is watching. She wished him a happy birthday, thanking him for his 50 years, for everything they have lived through, and above all for everything beautiful still ahead of them.
