Peruvian racing driver Mario Hart disclosed details of his separation from model Korina Rivadeneira during an appearance on television show Magaly TV: La firme. The former couple ended their relationship of around 10 years and are now establishing a new co-parenting dynamic for their two children.
Hart, who hosts the podcast Sin + que decir, confirmed that he and Rivadeneira decided to maintain the healthiest relationship possible for the welfare of their family. He explained that seeking a positive relationship for their children is the healthiest path forward, noting that they continue to attend family activities together without tension.
The former host of daytime television program Mande quien mande added that they still gather on certain weekends to make plans with their children. He also highlighted that he maintains a good relationship with Rivadeneira's family, while she remains close with his relatives, allowing them to preserve a supportive family structure despite ending their romantic union.

Emotional impact on children
Hart acknowledged that explaining the breakup to their children was one of the most difficult moments of the separation process. He shared that their eldest daughter, Larita, has felt his absence deeply, telling him that she misses him and sometimes trying to stay awake at night out of fear that he will leave while she is sleeping.
To support their children through the transition, the former reality television star explained that he and Rivadeneira continue to share important family milestones. During the birthday of their son, Marito, Hart stayed at the family home to wake him up alongside relatives and surprise him.
The former couple have also agreed on strict boundaries regarding future dating, deciding not to introduce new romantic partners to their children unless the relationships are serious. Hart noted that exposing the children to partners who might later disappear from their lives could cause them confusion.
Marital history and egg freezing
Addressing their marital history, Hart previously explained why the pair never remarried following the annulment of their marriage, stating that in the end it simply did not happen. Rivadeneira also recently confronted a reporter who claimed Hart had not ruled out a reconciliation between the two, accusing the journalist of lying.
Following the separation, Rivadeneira initiated the medical process to freeze her eggs. The model explained that she has always wanted to have more children in the future.
Hart is a prominent Peruvian race car driver, singer, and television presenter who gained national fame on reality broadcasts before co-hosting Mande quien mande on América Televisión. Rivadeneira is a Venezuelan model and actress who established her career in Peruvian entertainment. The celebrity show Magaly TV: La firme, hosted by veteran journalist Magaly Medina, airs on Peru's ATV network and regularly covers major Latin American entertainment news.
