Manos Ioannou, the Greek actor, said he is not considering marriage or starting a family, telling a magazine interviewer that the idea feels far removed from his current life.

Ioannou made the comments in an interview with the magazine Loipon, in which he was asked whether he was thinking about getting married and having children. He said no.
He said the idea did not cross his mind, and that the only reason he would marry would be if a child were already involved. He said all of it felt very distant to him: he sleeps and dreams about it, but wakes up feeling fine as he is. He added that he might think about it, or dream about it, from time to time, but that when he wakes up he genuinely feels content with his life as it is.
Why fatherhood doesn't appeal to him yet
Asked whether becoming a father could change his outlook, Ioannou said he still felt very much like a child himself, which is why the whole prospect seemed so distant to him. He said he had not yet felt that need and could not say it particularly concerned him at the moment.

It is not the first time Ioannou has addressed the subject publicly. A previous interview with him, published on 13 June 2026, carried the headline in which he joked that if he had a child, he would open the door and forget it was in the house.
