Lima Weekend Events: Los Kjarkas, Circus, Paradox Park

Lima is hosting a packed weekend of entertainment, with a concert by the Bolivian band Los Kjarkas, the immersive Paradox Park and the Circo Montecarlo all drawing crowds, alongside discounted tickets available through the platform Cuponidad.

The offerings span multiple age groups and tastes, from live concerts and circus acts to family theme parks, giving residents of the Peruvian capital several options to fill out their weekend.

Paradox Park at the Jockey Club

Paradox Park, described as one of the largest immersive parks in the world, has arrived in Lima with an entertainment concept aimed at the whole family. The venue, located at gate 4 of the Jockey Club, spans more than 25,000 square meters dedicated to games, challenges, live shows and attractions that combine technology, interaction and storytelling.



Beyond walking through themed sets, visitors can take part in competitions, explore different zones and face challenges designed for both adults and children. Tickets are on sale through Cuponidad starting at S/89, with two daily time slots on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The park's attractions include:

  • The Olympics of Zeus: billed as the longest obstacle course in the world, stretching 285 meters with more than 45 challenges.
  • Rome vs. Egypt: a themed area of more than 2,600 square meters where the two ancient empires face off.
  • The Minotaur's Labyrinth: a space of more than 600 square meters inspired by ancient Greece, where the Minotaur hides among the passageways.
  • The Hanging Gardens of Babylon: an area designed for younger children built around movement and adventure.

Los Kjarkas at Estadio San Marcos

Los Kjarkas will perform on Sunday, September 13 at the Estadio San Marcos as part of their "55 años: toda una vida" tour. The legendary Bolivian group is marking more than five decades of its career with a night dedicated to its musical history.



The band will be joined by guest acts Illapu, from Chile, along with Fernando Torrico and Kunan Runa, both from Bolivia. Los Kjarkas are one of Latin America's best-known folk groups, celebrated across the Andean region for songs that have become staples of Bolivian popular music. Tickets for the concert are on sale through Cuponidad starting at S/95.

Circo Montecarlo in Jesus Maria

With more than four decades in operation, the Circo Montecarlo is presenting trapeze acts, the Globe of Death, an Extreme BMX Show, tightrope walkers and international performers on the esplanade of the Circulo Militar in the Jesus Maria district. Performances continue through Sunday, September 13, after which the circus will close its tent. Tickets are available through Cuponidad starting at S/18.90 for platea seating.

Michael Jackson 360 degrees tribute show

The show "Michael Jackson 360°" offers an immersive experience combining symphonic music, dance and technological elements as a tribute to the legacy of Michael Jackson, the American singer widely known as the King of Pop. Staged in a 360-degree format, the production features an orchestra performing arrangements prepared specifically to take audiences through different stages of the artist's career.

The set list will include some of the artist's most well-known songs, spanning his early hits through to the tracks that achieved worldwide impact. The performances are scheduled for Saturday, September 12, Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19 at the Cupula de las Artes, located at Avenida Manuel Olguin 200 in the Santiago de Surco district, near the Jockey Plaza shopping center. Las Guardianas Kpop World Tour

Las Guardianas Kpop World Tour is returning to Lima with a new production for its followers. The show will take place on Sunday, September 27 at the Colegio San Agustin, combining music, energy and staging inspired by the global K-pop phenomenon, with a live concert featuring some of the genre's most popular songs alongside elaborate costumes and choreography.
