Peruvian TikTok creator Jean Villon has criticized actor Brando Gallesi following a comment referencing an alleged sexual assault of a minor at the Liceo Naval Almirante Guise school in Peru.
Villon expressed his anger in a video posted on social media on Saturday, September 19, targeting content creators who have joked about the ongoing legal investigation surrounding the military-administered institution.
The controversy followed a live broadcast on the streaming platform Kick, where Gallesi participated in a challenge alongside fellow creators Cristorata and Shaggy. During the stream, Gallesi made a remark that viewers interpreted as a joke about the teenager who was allegedly assaulted at the school in Lima.
Villon, an influencer from Callao who became popular on TikTok by sharing real-life stories from his followers, rejected Gallesi's comments in his video. He stated that while he does not produce intellectual or high-value content, he is at least not an idiot like Gallesi.
Villon noted that he had previously ignored other statements made by Gallesi because they only affected Gallesi himself. However, he described the latest joke about the school assault case as impermissible and unforgivable.
Critique of Social Media Behaviour
In his video statement, Villon questioned how someone who frequently speaks about God, wisdom, and being a good person could make a joke about the events at Liceo Naval. He stated that Gallesi was in his current position because a truly good person would not show such disrespect toward a delicate topic, describing Gallesi's action as disgusting and repudiable.
Villon also expressed disgust that multiple digital creators act irresponsibly when discussing sensitive legal matters involving minors.
The case at the center of the dispute involves Liceo Naval Almirante Guise, a private educational institution in Lima operated by the Navy of Peru. The Family Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating allegations that a teenage student suffered physical aggression and sexual assault by fellow students at the facility.
Calls for Media Sanctions
Beyond Gallesi, Villon criticized the broader public and media coverage surrounding the case. He condemned outlets and online creators for disseminating highly detailed and unnecessary information about the incident second by second.
Villon emphasized that the ongoing investigation is not gossip but an abomination, reminding his audience that the victim involved is a minor.
He specifically targeted Peruvian journalist Milagros Leiva, accusing her of exposing the identity of the teenager who was allegedly assaulted by classmates. Villon stated that while he would not engage in unverified speculation or theories, Leiva should face sanctions and be removed from her television program for airing unverified details about the victim.
The Kick broadcast featuring Gallesi also involved creator Shaggy, who had been reported days earlier by an individual named Zully over allegations of leaking private photos. The Family Prosecutor's Office investigation into the Liceo Naval incident remains ongoing.
