Actress Irina Bezrukova will interrupt her work and miss at least 15 performances after suffering a broken leg, Mash reported on Telegram.
According to Mash, Bezrukova will miss eight shows of The Marriage of Figaro, five productions of Pygmalion, and premiere shows of Office Romance. She will also miss rehearsals for the play Guilty Without Guilt, while her participation in the September 2 performance of Endless April remains uncertain.
Fracture details and recovery
Bezrukova suffered a closed fracture without displacement of fragments and is wearing a leg orthosis. She was prescribed physiotherapy and additional treatment following a repeat X-ray, with full recovery expected to take more than a month.
Bezrukova previously said that this was the first fracture of her life, calling what happened a simple accident.
