Venue expansion and new attractions

The 2026 edition marks a significant shift in the layout of Festival Presidente. Organisers are expanding the setup across various areas of the Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte, converting the sports complex into an interconnected circuit of music, cultural exhibits, and interactive entertainment.

Among the new attractions is the Perro Negro Experience, an installation inspired by the famous nightclub in Medellín, Colombia, making its Dominican debut as part of an international expansion. The site will also host an immersive circus style theatrical show featuring aerial acrobatics, live musical performances, mobile stage structures, and custom visual effects.

Sports fans can visit the Dugout por Juan Soto, a baseball-themed lounge inspired by the career of the Dominican Major League Baseball outfielder. In addition, Colmado La Dura will recreate a traditional Dominican corner grocery store, serving as a social gathering spot within the venue grounds.

Festival organisers have also announced plans for sustainability initiatives, accessibility accommodations, and responsible alcohol consumption programs. Food vendors, brand activations, and additional entertainment areas will be announced closer to the event dates.
