Evgenia Samara Shares Holiday Photos from Hierve el Agua

Greek actress Evgenia Samara shared photos from her vacation at the Hierve el Agua rock formations in Mexico on Monday, August 17.

Samara posed on large rocks at the site wearing a green bikini with brown stripes, accompanied by her friends Nikos Moutsinas and Konstantinos Dedes.

In her social media post, Samara described the location as the tenth entry in her online Mexico journal and highlighted several facts about how the famous landscape was formed.

She explained that the white cliff formations resemble waterfalls but are actually limestone deposits created over thousands of years by water rich in calcium carbonate.

Samara noted that the name Hierve el Agua translates to boiling water, though the water itself does not boil. Instead, bubbles and movement in the springs gave the site its name.

Natural springs and rock formations

According to Samara, the natural springs at the site are relatively warm, with temperatures between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius, forming natural pools.

She added that the site features two main petrified waterfalls, with the largest structure standing approximately 95 meters high as a result of mineral deposits. As water flows slowly over the rocks, it leaves behind calcium and other minerals that build up layer upon layer over time.

Samara concluded her post by writing that the final photo in her gallery represented her soul.
