Dora Panteli Shares Gym Routine, Message to Fellow Moms

Dora Panteli, a Greek sports journalist, posted a series of videos from her gym workouts on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a message encouraging mothers and women to keep exercising.

In the caption accompanying the videos, Panteli noted that she is approaching 40, adding that she does not train only for herself. She said she also trains for her son, explaining that she wants him to have a healthy, strong mother full of energy.

Panteli went on to say that the discipline built in the gym does not stay there but follows a person everywhere. She said her own professional career was living proof of this, adding that the same discipline that shaped her as an athlete also helped her progress as a professional. Consistency, she said, is what changes everything, both inside and outside the gym, and told her followers they can achieve their goals.

In the longer post, Panteli explained that she does not train because she has unlimited free time, but because she has none at all. She described working long hours for most of the year, traveling often, running several successful businesses alongside a household, constantly learning new things and raising a child, calling her life full.

She said that on some days she feels tired, under pressure and without motivation, but added that those are often the days it matters most to show up and make an effort, even if only for 15 minutes in her living room.

Panteli said she trains both her body and her mind, tries to eat properly and consistently, and rests when she can. She sleeps, she said, whenever there is no EuroLeague, EuroCup or NBA game keeping her awake, joking that this is not very often. The EuroLeague and EuroCup are Europe's top two men's club basketball competitions, while the NBA is the leading professional basketball league in the United States.

Training for her son

Panteli repeated that she no longer trains only for herself but also for her son, saying she wants him to have a healthy, strong, energetic mother.

She closed the post by urging her followers to keep moving, keep trying and keep showing up, saying that consistency is what changes everything, inside the gym and out, and that they can succeed.
