Greek model and businesswoman Dimitra Alexandraki has spoken publicly about her personal life and business security during a television appearance, describing her current relationship as peaceful while addressing marriage speculation and youth vandalism at her boutique.
Speaking on the morning entertainment show Super Katerina on Tuesday, September 22, Alexandraki said that for the first time in her life she is in a relationship with someone she considers normal. She explained that her current partnership is balanced and free from the emotional turmoil or unpredictable behavior she experienced in previous relationships.
Alexandraki also clarified social media rumors regarding a potential engagement following the recent publication of a photograph showing her wearing a ring. She stated that no marriage proposal has taken place and that the image was taken during a festive gathering with Cretans and Pontians who were making a joke. She subsequently deleted the photograph from her social media account, noting that the ring featured was a ten-carat piece she had custom made for herself.
Incidents of vandalism at Melissia store
Beyond her personal life, Alexandraki addressed a recent security incident outside her bridal store in Melissia, a suburban municipality located in the northern part of the Athens urban area in Greece. Following a video she posted online describing an attack where a group of youths threw glass bottles at her shop, she elaborated on ongoing security challenges at the commercial center where her business operates.
She reported that the commercial center suffers from persistent vandalism by minors who damage the surrounding property. In one severe incident during the middle of the summer, a group of minors physically assaulted the security guard at the complex and left him bloodied.
Expressing concern over the lack of parental supervision, Alexandraki questioned how children aged 14 to 15 could be roaming outside at 11:00 p.m. without an adult present. She stated that parents who are unable to manage their children should utilize available social structures and official authorities. Although she noted that she had grounds to initiate legal proceedings, she chose not to file a lawsuit and is instead working to speak directly with the parents of the minors involved.
Status of friendship with Dimitris Alexandrou
Alexandraki also provided an update on her relationship with fellow Greek model and television presenter Dimitris Alexandrou, with whom she previously experienced personal friction. She said there is now calm from all sides regarding their former dispute.
Describing her own character, Alexandraki remarked that she is neither revengeful nor someone who harbors long term resentment. She explained that while she can lose her temper, she compares herself to a dog that barks but does not bite.
