Cardi B, the American rapper of Dominican descent, has been spotted touring Santiago de los Caballeros during a fresh visit to the Dominican Republic. The performer behind "Bodak Yellow" was seen exploring the city known as the Ciudad Corazon, or Heart City.
During her stop in Santiago, Cardi B visited several local restaurants, including Campuno and Mr. Grilled, and shared some of the typical dishes she tried as a display of her connection and love for the country.
Monument and local beer
The singer and songwriter also showed glimpses of the city, including the Monumento a los Heroes de la Restauracion, the towering landmark that serves as a symbol of Santiago. She was also seen enjoying a Presidente beer, a Dominican brand, to cool off during her outing.
It remains unclear whether Cardi B is visiting family members again or working on a project in the country, according to the report.

The trip comes just weeks after the rapper again drew attention for her frequent references to the Dominican Republic. Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, has maintained a steady presence in the country throughout 2026, particularly over the summer.
In July, she shared images of her two eldest children, Kulture Kiari and Wave Set, enjoying the Dominican countryside in Castanuelas, the community where her paternal grandmother is from. At the time, she highlighted the experience of letting her children see an environment different from the traditional amusement parks in the United States, saying that not everything has to be Disney.

Days later, Cardi B again nodded to her Dominican roots by posting a video in which she wore a bikini inspired by the country's tricolor flag, timed to the release of her new single and music video, "AH HA."
