Zina Arvanitidi, the 50-year-old daughter of Greek singer Paschalis, has married 38-year-old French musician and producer Frank Zaragoza in the coastal town of Glyfada.
The wedding ceremony took place on Sunday, 30 August, at the Holy Church of Saint Nicholas. Paschalis escorted his daughter to the church before joining family and guests for a private celebration.
Glyfada is a prominent seaside suburb located along the Athenian Riviera in southern Greece. Paschalis Arvanitidis, known professionally by his first name, established himself as one of Greece's most popular singers during a career spanning several decades, gaining initial fame as the lead vocalist of the 1960s pop group The Olympians.
Wedding reception in Voula
Following the church service, a wedding reception took place in the family garden of the bride in nearby Voula. Relatives and close friends gathered in an intimate setting to celebrate with the couple, where a standout moment saw Paschalis dance with his daughter to his classic song Istoria.
Voula is an affluent residential suburb situated adjacent to Glyfada along the Saronic Gulf. The celebration brought together prominent figures from Greek politics and entertainment, including former New Democracy party leader Vangelis Meimarakis and composer Giorgos Hatzinasios, who attended with his family. Guests also included singers Bessy Argyraki and Sofia Arvaniti, alongside friends of the bride and groom who traveled from France.
Eurovision song performance
During the reception, Argyraki and Arvaniti joined Paschalis to perform Mathima Solfege, the song that represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1977.
