Work with Madonna
The most iconic moment of Orbit's career came in 1998 with his collaboration on Madonna's album Ray of Light. Orbit participated in both production and songwriting, including the title track, contributing to a radical artistic renewal for the American star.
The album combined pop with electronica, ambient, and dance music, achieving major commercial success and winning multiple Grammy Awards. Orbit became one of the most sought after producers of the era. The pair had previously worked together on remixes of Madonna songs, but Ray of Light was their first full album collaboration.
