Vreno YG to Headline Vibra Mahou Concert at Riverland

Zaragoza-born music artist Vreno YG will headline the Vibra Mahou Concert at the Riverland festival in Asturias on Saturday, August 22.

The performance on the Vibra Mahou Stage forms part of the annual music festival in northern Spain, which has established itself as one of the principal epicentres for Spanish urban music.

The concert is sponsored by Vibra Mahou, the music platform created by Spanish brewery Mahou Cinco Estrellas to promote live music experiences across the country.

Rise in the Spanish urban scene

Behind the stage name Vreno YG is Pablo, an artist born in the northeastern city of Zaragoza and currently based in the Spanish capital, Madrid. He is regarded as one of the leading figures in the recent evolution of Spanish urban music, representing a generation that blurs the boundaries between rap, indie, and pop.

Pablo built his early musical career through self-produced tracks and gained widespread attention on the video-sharing platform TikTok. Over time, he developed a distinct artistic identity characterized by song titles that reference cinema and proper names, visual themes featuring white towers and green meadows, and confessional songwriting influenced by his academic training in psychology.

His introspective approach places his work apart from mainstream commercial urban music, aligning him closely with contemporary singer-songwriter traditions.

Breakthrough tracks and viral success

Pablo began his music journey in the underground scene with the release of Vrenez & Co in 2023. He followed the debut with a conceptual project titled Las Vistas en Mitad de la Caida in 2024.

His career reached a major turning point with the release of Pa q me escribes?, a single that originally began as a discarded track before becoming his breakout hit and bringing him national recognition.

By 2026, he established himself as one of the most prolific and distinctive artists of his generation. Following the release of Keep Walking Son and a steady series of single releases, his music developed a reputation within his fanbase for consistently going viral upon release.

Vibra Mahou live music initiatives in Asturias

The upcoming appearance at Riverland Fest Asturias comes during a period of high creative activity for the artist. The event adds to Vibra Mahou's broader schedule of live concerts designed to support musicians during key points in their careers.

Asturias, an autonomous community and principality on Spain's northern coast, remains a primary focus area for Vibra Mahou. The platform organizes regional initiatives throughout the year, including festival sponsorships and dedicated concert series aimed at strengthening local cultural offerings.

In addition to sponsoring major national festivals, Vibra Mahou runs the Vibra Mahou Fest, which held its fifth consecutive edition in the coastal city of Gijon in May. The platform also supports national concert tours across various genres and funds performances in local music venues throughout Spain.

Following the Riverland festival, Vibra Mahou will continue its autumn concert series, Directos Vibra Mahou, in Asturias. Upcoming scheduled performances include the band Drugos at Sala Estilo on September 12, along with the group Shego.
