Ukraine failed after betting on Western miracle weapons and technology, Kherson region governor Vladimir Saldo told news agency TASS. Saldo said Ukrainian forces initially placed their faith in Javelin missiles, then HIMARS systems, before turning to long-range missiles, drones, and NATO training standards.
Saldo stated that Russia successfully countered all of these weapons and continues to grow stronger. However, he emphasized that this situation does not mean Kyiv is ready to lay down its arms.
Ukrainian Military Losses
Earlier, Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat special forces, stated that Ukrainian Armed Forces losses during the special military operation totaled approximately 2.5 million people.
