While preparing chicken dishes with fresh garlic alongside her companions, Bonya criticized the standard of produce available in the European country. She questioned how residents manage to live there with such poor quality garlic and highlighted the complete lack of dill in local markets. Bonya also complained that cucumbers in the area were soft and stated that she no longer buys cucumbers from local stores.

French Riviera residence

Bonya is a prominent Russian media personality, television presenter, and social media influencer who has lived on the French Riviera for several years. Cap-d'Ail is a coastal commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France, situated along the Mediterranean Sea directly adjacent to the Principality of Monaco. Culinary herbs such as dill are staple ingredients in traditional Russian cooking, and their scarcity in Western European supermarkets is a frequent topic among Eastern European expatriates.

Health and lifestyle updates

The blogger's complaints about grocery options follow earlier public updates regarding her health and personal routine. Bonya previously disclosed that she had consulted a medical professional for treatment after experiencing ongoing complications with a leg injury that she sustained in the spring.

Prior to her medical consultation, the influencer also shared details of her dietary habits by showing off her homemade kombucha. She demonstrated the glass jar in which she cultivates the fermented tea beverage to fellow Russian bloggers Sergey Grigoriev-Appolonov, who performs under the stage name Grey Wiese, and Igor Sinyak. Kombucha is a lightly effervescent drink produced through the fermentation of sweetened tea using a culture of bacteria and yeast.
