Musician Vasco Madueño has made his television acting debut in the Peruvian drama series Al fondo hay sitio on América Televisión as student Eduardo.
The 24-year-old artist plays a newcomer to the fictional neighborhood of Las Lomas who attracts immediate attention on campus and positions himself as a central figure in the show's youth storyline.
In his debut scene, Eduardo displayed a distant demeanor, notably during an encounter with Britani, played by Verónica Infantes. Britani arrived at the university excited to meet him, but Eduardo ignored her when she attempted to greet him, marking one of his first character interactions on the show.
His arrival is set to open a major narrative arc as a potential love interest for Maripaz, played by Adriana Campos Salazar. Show producers indicate that his entry could bring significant developments to the ongoing plot involving the younger cast members.

Madueño is the son of Venezuelan singer and actor Guillermo Dávila and the late Peruvian artist Jessica Madueño. Prior to joining the broadcast series, he was known primarily for his musical work and public profile connected to his family history.

Musical background and paternity legal battle
His artistic career began in childhood. In 2013, at age 12, Madueño appeared on the América Televisión program Al aire, where he shared that he played instruments and had formed a musical group with his friends.
For several years, Madueño was also at the center of a widely publicised paternity controversy. From his early years, his mother Jessica Madueño made appearances on television broadcasts requesting that Dávila legally acknowledge his paternity.
The dispute gained renewed attention in 2021 when Dávila traveled to Peru and underwent a DNA test, which formally confirmed that he was Madueño's father. Following the confirmation, Madueño continued his work as a musician before expanding into acting with his role on Al fondo hay sitio.
