The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an industrial zone in Ufa on Aug. 5, starting a fire 1,400 kilometers from the border. According to preliminary data, no one was injured in the strike.

Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov stated that falling debris from Ukrainian drones triggered the blaze at a local enterprise. Residents reported hearing loud pops before seeing a thick column of black smoke rise over the city, according to news portal UFA1.
Environmental monitoring
Khabirov assured that the air in Ufa was not poisoned after the attack. He indicated that mobile laboratories were monitoring the environmental situation in the city.
