Tilsa Salazar Condos, the daughter of Peruvian broadcaster Federico Salazar and actress Katia Condos, broke her silence on her parents' separation, saying it is frustrating to watch people discuss a situation they know nothing about.
The 22-year-old made the comments in an interview with COSAS magazine, given ahead of her debut as an actress.
Salazar and Condos announced the end of their marriage in March 2026, after 30 years together. The couple had long been seen as one of the most stable in Peru's entertainment industry, and the news set off widespread commentary and speculation on social media and entertainment programs about the reasons behind the split.

Tilsa Salazar on the online speculation
Tilsa Salazar said it was sometimes frustrating to see people talk about matters they knew nothing about, and with so little care. She said this to COSAS while discussing how her parents' breakup had been covered.
She added that, despite the comments from outsiders, the situation did not ultimately affect her, because she was grateful to still have both of her parents by her side. She described them as two incredible parents, saying that was what mattered most, according to the magazine.
Salazar went on to say that conversations on social media and on entertainment programs did not always reflect what the people involved actually experienced, noting that what gets said online or on television is often very different from reality. Speaking with laughter, she recalled instances in which some public figures had tried to guess the reasons for her parents' split by reading tarot cards, adding that people believed it.
Debut in 'No tan viuda'
Salazar's comments came as she prepares to make her acting debut in the film 'No tan viuda', which is produced by her mother, Katia Condos. The interview with COSAS was tied to the release of the film.
