Model and television presenter Suheyn Cipriani was officially presented on Tuesday, August 18, as one of 63 candidates competing for the Miss Peru 2027 title.
The announcement formalizes her bid to represent Peru at the international Miss Universe pageant, fulfilling what she described as her greatest dream.
Miss Peru is the country's flagship national beauty contest, organized by long-time director and former beauty queen Jessica Newton. The winner goes on to compete in Miss Universe, one of the most widely watched international beauty competitions in the world.
National Stage and Pageant Experience
Cipriani had previously revealed her ambitions to television host Magaly Medina, explaining her desire to re-enter national pageantry despite already possessing significant international experience. She previously placed in the top 10 during the inaugural edition of the MGI All Star competition.
Speaking at the official press presentation, Cipriani expressed immense happiness at standing before the audience once again, noting that this marks her third time participating in the organization's events. She told those present that she had learned strength does not come from never falling, but from learning how to rise again.
Alongside motherhood, Cipriani currently works as a television presenter and podcast host. She recently relocated to an exclusive apartment in Miraflores with the support of her mining engineer boyfriend, a relationship she described as the most stable she has ever experienced.
Her broadcasting work recently drew attention when host Janet Barboza stopped her from promoting her podcast during an appearance on the television show América Hoy, stating that outside projects were not promoted on the program.
Philanthropy and Social Impact
Beyond her media career, Cipriani has directed Happy Little Kids, a non-profit charitable organization, for seven years. The duration of her philanthropic work coincides exactly with her seven years of involvement in beauty pageants.
Through the organization, she has delivered assistance to impoverished communities in Peruvian regions such as Piura and Ayacucho. Most recently, her team visited the department of Junín to distribute 500 winter jackets to local children.
Cipriani said she intends to expand her charitable outreach while inspiring other women through her personal story. She noted that her social media presence has already built a substantial audience, which she hopes to combine with the Miss Peru platform to create spectacular social changes.

Addressing Jessica Newton directly during the press conference, Cipriani highlighted her background representing Peru twice in international competitions abroad. She stated that those experiences gave her the confidence and resilience that define her today.
Cipriani concluded her remarks by reminding Newton of their long-standing relationship and telling her directly that she was ready to be her queen, drawing applause from those in attendance.
The presentation event also featured Miss Peru 2026 winner Luren Márquez, who expressed emotion while thanking Newton for restoring her crown and title. Márquez encouraged all 63 contestants in the 2027 edition to evolve personally and leave a positive mark on society throughout their pageant journey.
