Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov has criticized songs created using artificial intelligence, according to statements reported by news outlet Vesti.ru.
The People's Artist of Russia said music created with neural networks sounds identical and derivative. He stated that while shortening words, tearing phrases, or placing accents in the wrong position can sometimes be permitted in poetry to serve an image or thought, creators must understand what they are doing and where to make those choices.
