Peruvian actor Sergio Galliani has spoken about his return as Nachito to the television show Al Fondo Hay Sitio after a long absence.
Speaking on the radio program En Escena on RPP, the 59-year-old actor explained that he decided to rejoin the broadcast because he missed the fast-paced television lifestyle and because fans frequently asked him about the character.
Galliani described working at América Televisión as both an intense machine and a close family environment, noting that the production team operates almost to perfection despite working against the clock.
He detailed how the television production maintains its rapid daily workflow, recording approximately one episode per day which then airs roughly two days later.
Uncertainty over future seasons
Despite his return to the screen, Galliani remains uncertain about his long-term future with the long-running show. Asked whether his character would stay for subsequent seasons, the actor said that he does not know yet.
Galliani's character, affectionately known to viewers as Nachito, is currently enduring major plot turns in the show. The character recently survived a near-fatal shooting and is presently facing a serious illness.

New comedic stage play
Alongside his ongoing television work, Galliani is currently starring in a new theatrical comedy titled El Jefe del Jefe alongside fellow Peruvian actor Miguel Iza.
The stage production is a comedic piece based on the 2006 film by Danish filmmaker Lars Von Trier. Galliani performs alongside an ensemble cast that includes his daughter Airam Galliani, as well as actors Franco Iza, Joaquín Escobar, and Andrea Aguirre.
The play centers on a business owner, played by Miguel Iza, who invents a fictional company boss to take the blame for difficult and unpopular corporate decisions.
After maintaining the deception for several years, potential buyers of the business insist on meeting the imaginary executive. In response, Iza's character hires Cristian, an actor portrayed by Galliani, to pose as the top supervisor.
The situation quickly escalates into chaotic comedy when the hired actor takes the fictitious role out of control, creating unexpected complications for the company owner.
