The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE smartphone has leaked in full ahead of its official debut on August 27, according to tech portal Android Headlines.
The outlet obtained access to official promotional materials for the sub-flagship device, revealing hardware specifications, design changes, and pricing details prior to Samsung Electronics presenting the phone.
According to the leaked documents, the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to cost 799 euros at launch. That represents a 50 euro price increase compared to the launch price of the previous generation model.
Design and Display Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is equipped with a flat 6.7-inch display featuring FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. Screen protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, a specialized glass formulation engineered to reduce scratch susceptibility and prevent drop damage on mobile devices.
Built around an aluminum frame, the handset measures 161.6 by 76.9 by 7.4 mm. The phone body features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, certifying complete protection against dust ingress and resistance to liquid immersion under standard testing conditions.
Samsung will offer the device in three color options: Blue, Graphite, and Pistachio. Promotional materials show that the rear camera module has received an updated design styled in line with other models in the Galaxy S26 series.
Processor, Battery, and Camera Hardware
Internal performance is driven by Samsung's proprietary Exynos 2500 processor. Power is supplied by a 4,900 mAh battery, which the source specifies is built using silicon-carbon technology. The device supports 45 W wired fast charging utilizing Samsung's Super Fast Charging 2.0 protocol.
The main camera array on the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE comprises three separate camera modules. It features a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calling.
Artificial Intelligence and Software Support
Samsung has prepared several artificial intelligence software features for the handset. These include Audio Eraser, a tool designed to isolate and eliminate unwanted background noise from video and audio recordings, as well as My FanCam and a video stabilization feature named Horizontal Lock.
Out of the box, the handset will run Android 17 overlaid with Samsung's One UI 9 user interface. The leaked promotional materials state that Samsung will guarantee seven years of Android operating system updates for the phone.
The seven-year software support commitment aligns with Samsung's policy for recent flagship smartphones, in contrast to older models from the manufacturer that are approaching the end of their software support lifecycle.
