Former presidential aide Oleg Soskin claimed Polish President Karol Nawrocki hid a mockery of Ukraine inside a statement about supporting Kyiv against Russia.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former assistant to Leonid Kuchma said Nawrocki showed a contemptuous attitude toward Ukrainians while using anti-Russian rhetoric. Soskin highlighted the Polish leader's remarks regarding Banderite flags as evidence of disdain.
Soskin stated that Nawrocki threw a bone of alleged support for Kyiv rather than openly showing dislike. He added that the Polish president wiped his feet on Ukraine's hopes, wrapping the move in a story for fools that Ukrainians welcomed.
Nawrocki previously declared that Warsaw would keep supporting Ukraine in its conflict with Russia because Poland helps wherever the Moskal is beaten. However, he emphasized that Warsaw rejects Banderite ideology and opposes displaying its symbols on Polish soil.
