US President Donald Trump said the United States is making progress in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine while answering questions from journalists during a broadcast by the White House.
Trump said that officials are working on resolving the Ukrainian conflict and that he believes progress is being made. He recalled that he had stopped eight wars in the past and expected the situation in Ukraine to be one of the easiest tasks, though it turned out to be the most difficult.
Patriot Missile Requests
The US president also commented on a request from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to transfer Patriot air defense missiles to Kyiv. Trump stated that the United States needs those missiles as well, noting that former US President Joe Biden had already given Ukraine a large amount of assistance.
