The ceremony will take place on October 22 in Miami, where 47 awards will be presented across genres ranging from Latin pop and tropical music to regional Mexican. Regional Mexican music encompasses a broad group of musical styles traditional to rural and regional Mexico.
Four songs recorded alongside fellow Mexican singer Tito Double P account for nine of Peso Pluma's total nominations. Tito Double P holds 15 nominations overall and is also competing for artist of the year. He owes nine of his nominations to those joint tracks, with five of them stemming from the song Daño.
