The new theatrical play Cáscaras, written by Peruvian playwright Eduardo Adrianzén and directed by Giovanni Arce, finishes its first season at the Británico Auditorium in Lima.
The stage production features actors Giovanni Arce and Rodrigo Chávez, who perform three separate stories across the course of the play. Like Adrianzén's previous theatrical works La eternidad en sus ojos and Infusión, the drama explores human relationships and the passage of time.

The second story explores another dimension of power and systemic abuse. The narrative examines how authority and control operate within personal and social relationships.
The third narrative steps back several decades to tell the story of a friendship between two men in the LGBTI community. This segment highlights the social prejudice and discrimination experienced by patients living with HIV during that historical era.

Eduardo Adrianzén is an established Peruvian playwright and screenwriter known for creating stage plays, teleplays, and television dramas. Over a career spanning several decades, his works have frequently focused on Peruvian social dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and political history.
The Británico Auditorium is a prominent cultural venue operated by the Asociación Cultural Peruano Británica in Lima. Established to foster cultural exchange and support local arts, the institution regularly hosts theatrical performances, film screenings, and music concerts across the Peruvian capital.
