Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen released a joint letter on social networks representing 22 European Union member states. Meloni and Frederiksen noted that they are the only two female leaders heading governments among the 27 EU nations. In their letter, the two leaders proposed the creation of deportation centers located outside the European Union.
